Tricab BVA-PAXD/3C4BK 3x4mm² SHF-1 Marine Power Cable
The Tricab BVA-PAXD/3C4BK is a heavy-duty, ultra-flexible 3-core 4.0 mm² marine and offshore power distribution cable rated for 0.6/1 kV operating service up to 90°C. Engineered for demanding shipboard electrical installations—such as high-draw AC circuits, battery chargers, pumps, and sub-distribution panels—it utilizes Tinned Annealed Copper Wire (TACW) conductors to guarantee long-term protection against tarnish, moisture, and saltwater corrosion.
Insulated and outer-sheathed with thermoplastic Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) SHF-1 compounds, this cable adheres strictly to IEC 60092-350, IEC 60332-3-22 Cat A fire retardancy, and IEEE-45 marine installation standards. Its high-strand conductor design maintains exceptional flexibility for a 4.0 mm² core cable, making tight bends and routing through crowded marine cable trays and engine rooms effortless.
Key Features
-
Higher Ampacity Power Delivery: 4.0 mm² cross-sectional area handles higher continuous current loads for heavy onboard machinery, AC supply feeds, and power converters.
-
TACW Marine Shielding: Tinned annealed copper strands stop oxidation and galvanic degradation at terminal blocks, lugs, and breaker panels.
-
Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) Safety: Meets IEC 60332-3-22 Cat A flame propagation test; emits minimal smoke and no toxic halogen gases in fire conditions.
-
SHF-1 Marine Grade Sheath: Resists continuous UV exposure, oil splashes, engine room ambient humidity, and mechanical abrasion.
-
High-Flex Routing: Designed with multi-strand class 5/6 style flexibility to minimize bending strain during pull-throughs in restricted conduits.
